Privacy policy
Color Circuit is made by Klync Software ("we"). This policy explains what data the game uses, who handles it and the choices you have. In short: we run no servers for the game, you need no account, and your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google handles the data that ads need.
Data that stays on your device
Your level progress, scores, records, achievements, settings and daily hint counts are saved only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows a banner under play screens, an occasional full-screen ad after a finished run, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for hints or new pieces. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and limit how often you see the same ad, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking; on Android unless you have turned it off),
- IP address (used to estimate a general location), device type, operating system and app version,
- how you interact with ads.
Ads are personalised only with your consent. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for consent through Google's consent message before any ad loads. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether the advertising identifier may be used. You can change your choice at any time: in the game under Settings → Privacy (where your region requires it) and in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Google's handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), the game sends your best scores and unlocked achievements to that service so they appear on its leaderboards. Your player name and scores are then visible to other players there, under Apple's or Google's own privacy policies. We only see what the leaderboards show publicly. You can sign out of these services in your device settings.
Crash reports
If you have agreed on your device to share analytics with app developers, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports (device model, system version, the point in the code where the app stopped). They contain no personal data and help us fix bugs.
Purchases
If the game offers in-app purchases (for example removing ads), payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details; we only learn that a purchase was made so the game can unlock it.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for your name, email or any account.
- We do not use our own analytics or tracking.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the ads in the game, contact us and we will help you reach Google to have it removed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal data about you ourselves, most requests concern Google's ad data: you can manage that through the in-game privacy options, your device settings and My Ad Center. For anything else, write to us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Important changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
